IQmulus at EuroSDR

On April 4, 2018 the IQmulus coordinator presented IQmulus and the Norwegian follow-up project ANALYST at the EuroSDR workshop Use of algorithms on big DEM's. The workshop took place in Tønsberg, Norway. The workshop attracted 30 participants from nine European countries. As the workshop was focused on LIDAR data, the results of IQmulus matched the topic of the workshop well.

The IQmulus project addressed the challenge of taking geospatial point cloud and coverage data and interpreting it with functions such as interpolation, feature detection and change detection so that it could be more easily used for decision-making tasks. One key aspect of HR Wallingford’s role on the project was to investigate processing and visualising bathymetry datasets using the SeaZone holdings of bathymetry surveys. The purpose of this presentation is to describe and, where possible, demonstrate key visualisation applications developed at HR Wallingford.

IQmulus at the Big Data from Space 2014 (BiDS'14) conference

IQmulus was presented at the "Big Data from Space 2014"  (BiDS'14) conference, co-organised by the European Space Agency (ESA), the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission, and the European Union Satellite Centre (SatCen). It was held at the ESA Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN), Frascati, 12th-14th November 2014.

IQmulus Consortium meeting in Brest has finished

The IQmulus Consortium meeting was held in Brest 08-10 of September in 2014 hosted by Ifremer at Ifremer based in Plouzané on the site of Technopole Brest Iroise. The aims of the periodical meeting were to discuss about the deliverables for the second year of the project as well as discussion about the showcases and user requirements.
