2013.06.3-7. Code Camp Darmstadt
The first Code Camp of IQmulus project was held in Darmstadt, Germany, from the 3rd until 7th of June 2013, hosted by Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD. The meeting was the kick-off event for the interdisciplinary technical work of the project.
The Code Camp week has given a great opportunity for the developers to meet face to face, so they could exchange their ideas and expertise related to their work.

The main goals of the Code Camp were summarizing the status of the technical Work Packages, making clear the interrelations, dependencies and priorities for the implementation work, and establishment of the common infrastructure and standards for software developments.

IQmulus is still in the specification phase, thus the conceptual work plays an important part of the present work. Therefore, the focus of this year’s Code Camp was on the following topics: reviewing and discussing the current architecture design, preparation for the demonstration a first prototype for the envisioned IQmulus System (“technical not functional”), and preparation for development of small-scale projects for testing the environment.
